Kill buyer Joe Simon’s property is next the local livestock auction. On the auction property were approximately 100 horses, most of them were already tagged for slaughter. This is a small auction, but it appears that Simon holds his slaughter bound horses here. All horses visible in the pen area appeared to be in good condition. Next door to the auction is also small arena and additional pens. At the time of the visit, one of these pens contained 15 horses including numerous mares with foals by their side. Animals’ Angels will continue to monitor the premises.
